The Trusted Concierge offers plant-based nutritional services! Glenn Davis is a whole-food, plant-based specialist. Complementing Glenn’s medical background and education, he has earned a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutritional Studies and certificates in Holistic Nutrition and The Holistic Structure and Function of the Body from American College of Healthcare Sciences.
Glenn graduated the Special Operations Combat Medic Course at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School in 2003. Glenn was then assigned to the 1st Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment as a Combat Medic with multiple combat deployments providing medical care in austere environments. The 75th Ranger Regiment is an elite light/infantry special operations force of the U.S. Army. As a civilian paramedic, Glenn provided medical coverage on mobile personal security details for high-level oil and gas personnel in Northern Iraq. Upon contract completion, Glenn then worked on a mobile security team at the US Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq providing medical coverage for two US Ambassadors, Secretary of Defense, Speaker of the House, and many Congressional Delegations. Transitioning his medical expertise into the civilian sector, Glenn navigates the day-to-day health care of his clients with compassion and watchfulness whether it is in the Doctors office, Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or at end of life. Glenn interacts with Doctors on a professional level discussing diagnosis and treatment options while also being able to communicate to the family in understandable language. Glenn's integrity guides him in advocating for his clients so that their health care needs are met on their terms according to their wishes.
Robin began her nursing career in 1987 at age 16, becoming a certified nursing assistant (C.N.A.) at a local hospital & nursing home. After working for several years as a C.N.A., Robin decided to go to nursing school. Robin first became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1994 and then a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1999. Robin was promoted to Director of Nursing in 1999 at a 121-bed skilled nursing facility. In 2002, Robin also became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. At present Robin is employed by a national senior living company as a Divisional MDS & Resident Care Manager. In this role, Robin supports multiple communities in Medicare and Insurance reimbursement and case management.
Robin & Glenn moved to Tucson in 2006 after Glenn completed his military service. In Tucson, Robin recognized a need in health care for patient advocacy. Robin’s career has continued in senior living, having found her passion in caring & advocating for older adults. Robin feels fortunate to have become a nurse years ago when the nurse was a true patient advocate.
